What we doQuothquan Trust is a small local grant making charity; we consider written applications for grants periodically. The Trustees prefer to support specific projects, concentrating on helping Christian organisations, charities and churches based in Birmingham and the surrounding area. Applications from outside the West Midlands or overseas will not be considered unless recommended to the Trustees by someone known to them who has direct first-hand knowledge of the work. Most of the Trust’s income is already committed to regular support for a number of long term projects. The balance available for distribution is small. Apart from regular monthly grants, grants are generally made on a one off basis. Quothquan Trust will consider further applications for funding after ten months have elapsed from the last payment. One off grants are normally in the range of £50 - £300. Quothquan Trust shares support staff with The Alfred Haines Charitable Trust. If your application is more relevant for AHCT there is no need to make a separate application to AHCT; it will be reviewed/transferred as appropriate.
